Wonder if he watched last night to veiw Cats think tank plan to bounce back

Copy Hawks way and mark ,mark , mark and deny Sydney the cherry

Wack Danger in goal square which undoubtedly threw them --my hope is
NB and new blood in coaching box are more game aware as Scott showed
works

Wasn't there some sort of agreement that we all would hold off with the sarkys until something actually happens? Like, I dunno, we actually win something?

If you want some loyalty from us back stabbers and fifth columnists, give us something. Maybe a brand new pick 6. Maybe Gary Ablett will come to us rather than Moggsville. Maybe Chris Mayne can
1. find some form
2. become a monk

It's going to be a long boring summer. Newcastle United is on the cusp of irrelevance. The Wallabies suck. The Socceroos, just like 20 years ago, have stuffed it up big time. So sorry, provided we keep it civil, and not mention... the thread stays.

Yes, but recent comments have not been debating the title topic directly, so it's not like people are kicking a dead horse here...

There's nothing to debate - since he was reappointed, Collingwood hasn't lost a game. Clearly a masterstroke!

Well, nothing changes at the McGuire Football Club as per usual.

Apart from the subtle name change of course. You are all abreast of that right? Or did it slip past you?

At any other organisation there would be a groundswell of the membership demanding some accountability at the very least.

Not at the MFC though. Ignavia Pica!

At the very least, at least we put the Deeees outa the Finals, and sent their toffy snob fans up to Mansfield and the snow, that made my footy season actually, mate. ! Razz

We did exactly the same thing against the Swans when we beat them earlier this year. So maybe the Cats got the idea from Bucks?

Since this post would be removed in RudeBoy's 'Our team's strengths and weaknesses entering 2018' thread due to this extract from said thread

'This topic was designed to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the team. As detailed by the OP it is not centred around the coaching staff or Buckley, Any off topic posts will be removed.
On Behalf of the Mods Team."

I'll post this here instead.

Rudeboy's thread is almost pointless, until the football department and coaching issues are actually addressed, the strengths and weaknesses of our team are almost mute in any meaning as we aren't really developing anything towards our actual goal of winning another premiership - at this point... the club has done almost nothing to address the issues and the present coaching staff are warming the seat for the next cab at the rank - point being we are a club in LIMBO

Not everyone would agree with that. i dont. Even if true, failing to improve the list at all costs irrespective of the view of the coach would be totally negligent.

The dogs decided that MCCarthy wasnt the right choice to take the team to a flag, but imagine if they stopped bothering to rebuild the team. Bevo would not have been given such a present and Dogs would have missed their chance to "snatch" a flag when the opportunity presented itself.

Hopefully, people do focus on the list.

And hopefully, you are a little off the mark on the coaching crew. there are two important things that make a good coach. Get the absolute best effort out of your players and have a gameplan and coaching style to bring out their best. i am 100% sure that Buckley ticks box 1. Box 2, is where i, like you, still have my doubts, but i dont think i can say he definitively cant tick that box!

Whether the playing group is good enough is a little bit out of the coaches hands which is why Rudeboys thread is so important. if that werent the case, then the best coach would win EVERY Flag and we have seen that not happen, like EVER!

The fact is we don't know. And until a ball is kicked in anger in 2018 we still won't know...

Usually there are portents in the wind, such as the underachievement of our womens' team in 2017 to give us an indication. But we should be looking towards the draft, pick 6 and the others to see what happens. I hope we don't sell the farm this year to get a Stringer or whatever, just use what we have to get some experience into these players.
