A regularly updated sticky thread on injuries is a spectacular innovation. well don Presti (and the mods for allowing it).

Missing from JLT3 off the top of my head:
Sinclair (hammy)
Smith (ankle)
Elliott (ankle)
Langdon
Reid
Wells
Broomhead
Wills
Crocker
Sier

Anyone else besides first year draftees/rookies like Brown?

I would like some more details on Broomy.

For once it would be nice to see him carving them up but signs are not promising.....surely this is his year...surely!!

Add Grundy's calf to the list.

Man, this club since 2011...I just, no words. No words.

OP updated.

Some more info here: http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/season/injury-list

Cant seem to find return dates for a couple of them, but I'm guessing they are either tests or returning to full training soon. Others may be returning via VFL practice matches too.

Let's hope all the Blackmore weekly updates aren't as lacking as the latest report on the website.

Like you said Presti35, no return dates, not even any kind of estimate (i.e. short term, medium term, etc) really disappointing.

As an aside, has anyone heard anything about Kale Kirby's progress ? Has he as much as played in any of the VFL practice matches ?

Is De Goey injured? He is not listed in the squad again.

A quarter of the squad injured with others like Wells not mentioned.
Goundhog day again.
Maybe groundhogs love the taste of magpies!

Actually it's the opposite of what you're saying. Counted 40 heads out there today. Only one was running laps (Wills). That's a fit list of 39 players to choose 22 to play (De Goey looked fit to play if he had to). No shows were Wells, Elliot, Oxley and Crocker. Broomhead, Sier, McLarty, McCarthy and Kirby all look fit to go. Ideally you would like to see Wells and Elliot on the track but you're never going to have everybody out there. Can't remember a better state of the list heading into a season around two weeks before the first game, for at least 3 years.

Well 10 on the Collingwood injury list and others like Wells known to be injured.
Mathematically that is a round a quarter to me.
