Unfortunately, West Coast generally play well at Etihad. It's the MCG where they struggle.

We should lose this by 35+ with Kennedy kicking a small bag. Mitchell and Priddis will be let loose and our lack of wo way running will hurt us on this basketball court of a ground.

Pendles absence is a major blow, but it provides an opportunity to others to step up to the plate. De Goey needs to be told "you are the man" and told to take the game on and lead from the midfield. Greenwood should return and I would bring in Wills to be our wrecking machine and ball up extractor.

If we win the midfield battle, tag Gaff and hit up forwards with short passes rather than bombing the ball into Barass and McGovern we should win this. The eagles were slaughtered around the footy by the dockers. They were just lucky the dockers couldn't buy a goal.

West coast a far superior team to the bit part Collingwood outfit. At least Buckley can use the excuse after the game that Pendlebury didn't play. He will highlight that. Makes no difference anyway - nor does the margin. one team in contention for the 8, the other in denial

West coast certainly are inconsistent, so always beatable, that's true. But they have just got Kennedy back, making their forward line tough to stop at the same time we lose Pendles. If it were at the G we would be much more suited - their Etihad record is ok. I think their depth is good and they don't have too many out. I also think since Q B game against Melb we haven't played as well
