Unbelievable.
Within 10 minutes of that "great win", the marketing dept. is out there with a great new members offer.
To celebrate that victory, they are offering, for a limited time only, 2017 members caps for sale at only $10 each.
They can't be serious. After not giving them to AFL members this year as part of their package it looks like they have plenty left over and are desperate to get rid of them.

Marketing department on the clock on a Saturday night, must be desperate.
Just wait you will be able to pick them up for $1 at the MCG open day after the GF.

Agreed.
These are probably the caps that would of gone to us, had someone not came up with this bright idea to charge us for them. |

Or just wait a few days more and fish them out of the lexus centre dumpster, and you might find some Marketing department staff deposited there as well.

The one in this latest email is the additional 125 year hat all members had to purchase, it wasn't the free one they did/didn't hand out depending on how you support the club. From memory the original cost was $15. |

We got ours free, I wouldn't have paid for it otherwise, I have a little head, and they are always too big for me. This ones not bad however. We also got the scarf.

| They have an excess of merchandise which they were discounting at the last MCG game by 25%. Now they're discounting again to reduce their stock. Nothing wrong with what they're doing, but we wouldn't be holding excess stock if we were winning and more Collingwood supporters were turning up at games. Forget the milestones, visionary theories of play and being the nice guy. It's all about winning, nothing more, nothing less. |
