They're falling like dominoes. NXT's Rebekha Sharkie is now under the microscope.

Those cases (i.e. Sharkie’s, Lamb’s and Keay’s) will be an interesting test of Section 44 – all of them seem to have taken the necessary steps, and none of them were dual citizens by the time they took their seats. Another relevant consideration is that Turnbull didn’t even call the election until the 8th of May – meaning that, with the sorts of time delays involved in renouncing citizenship, it might become literally impossible for dual citizens to ever decide to run in an election, even if they filed renouncement forms immediately upon writs being issued.

But who really knows anymore? I certainly wouldn’t be putting my house on any of them getting through unscathed.

Now Malcolm will huff and puff and blow the house down.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has threatened to break with longstanding precedent and use the government's slim majority to refer any Labor MPs under a citizenship cloud to the High Court.

My perception is the ALP want Malcolm to refer opposition members to the High Court. C'mon Malcolm, do it.

^ Interesting. If it’s all-out war, will Labor be able to do the same for Liberal MPs? Or will they simply not have enough numbers on the floor?

The PM keeps pounding his fist on the table and nothing happens. He stated Wednesday he would not politicise his meeting with Bill Shorten and then no surprise on Thursday was on every news service bagging Shorten saying that Shorten said/offered nothing. Which contradicted what he said the day before which was they could not agree to terms. If Bill said/offered nothing then how can you not agree to terms? I'm pretty sure the PM is a Lawyer and if in a court of law you could rip through his statement. The PM is fast becoming the "Do Nothing PM". Abbott will mount a challenge soon enough.

When did this become a "crisis" topic? I've got the popcorn out.

Meanwhile:

It appears that Ms Hughes held an office of profit under the Crown after she wasn't elected (the first time).

So, in one fell swoop we have a minority government and a significant increase in the average IQ of our MPs.

Dropping like flies. Still at least a dozen politicians in the gun, too.

Quite a few refusing to show proof they've renounced and with a Coup d'état brewing in the Coalition party room it's going to be a wild ride rather than stable Government.

4 Labor pollies in the crosshairs too. I hope P4S chef can keep the popcorn coming, this could go for a while yet.

I’m cooking up a special batch for the Attorney-General and the Shadow Attorney-General - there’d be fun for all in that. At the moment, they’re just picking off the low-hanging fruit.

What if they held a Parliament and nobody came?
