We need to prove it one way or the other. So far I am not convinced and he is rather small.

I cannot see him as being tough enough to play on the ball in the middle replacing Taylor Adams.

Can someone tell me what his strengths are as a footballer?

Game Sense, Elite Overhead Mark and Reliable Ball User.

Adams and Aish would play 2 Different Kinds of Inside Mids. Aish is more Simmlar to Pendles Inside Game

Hopefully an Aish in the guts doesn't turn into a turd in the woods.

Our fulltime midfield should be:

Grundy swapping with Moore/Cox
Treloar swapping with Maynard at half back
Pendlebury swapping with Aish on the bench
De Goey changing with Sidebottom forward

Play Adams as a defensive forward in the Blair role
Play Hoskin-Elliott on one wing, Varcoe on the other
Broomhead is HF, Thomas also rotate through the middle.

Let Aish spend more time in the middle as an inside mid at centre bounces and it will improve our delivery out of there, rebound 50 and inside 50.

Net result gives Adams a job that he can do well in, and ditto for Aish, and leave them there until the end of the season.

Good calls. Think Aish has been a victim of our 17 midfielders that he competes for space with!

Maynard should be banned from defensive 50 for life though!

I believe Maynard is where he needs to be for the time. I agree we need someone harder in the centre but we need more elite kicks there. Maynard kicks long which is an asset in the back but he's not so accurate. Thing with 42 was he rarely turned out a negative result. Don't know what to do with Aish - He seems to be a clone of several players - good but not what we need.
We need more players that will go against the grain and pull out something when things are going bad. Daisy used to do it. We have some fair weather players we need to turn around.

I think Aish could be a good half forward a decent set shot for goal most of the time.
