Our fulltime midfield should be:
Grundy swapping with Moore/Cox
Treloar swapping with Maynard at half back
Pendlebury swapping with Aish on the bench
De Goey changing with Sidebottom forward
Play Adams as a defensive forward in the Blair role
Play Hoskin-Elliott on one wing, Varcoe on the other
Broomhead is HF, Thomas also rotate through the middle.
Let Aish spend more time in the middle as an inside mid at centre bounces and it will improve our delivery out of there, rebound 50 and inside 50.
Net result gives Adams a job that he can do well in, and ditto for Aish, and leave them there until the end of the season. _________________ Get back on top. |

Been saying that he is a Inside Mid since we Traded for him.
Finals Chances are over so Give Aish a Fair Crack at it.

I've always maintained that Aish's best position is the half forward flank, but till now it hasn't worked out. Nathan Buckley tried him there and he was a complete flop. Why it failed I have no idea. Aish is a beautiful kick. He can kick goals from anywhere. Good luck playing him in the guts because I have no idea where we can get him to play his best football. Who wants to be a football coach? |

I really like the idea of Maynard playing in the centre.
This might sound silly, but he reminds me of Dustin Martin. Both in terms of his build/strength/athleticisms, and the way he plays. I think given a good run through the middle, he could be just as good. |

Maynard would be better on the wings imo. Crisp is the one who should be back in the middle because that's where he won 2nd best in the Copeland trophy. |

If Rupert Wills gets a run at it, from batmod's VFl report he's the martin.
Bigger than either Crisp or manyard and built like a wrecking call. IIRC can kick too.
Play Manyard on a wing and show him videos of a certain No 42. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Problem for Jim Bob is that he struggles to put on extra weight.
Has found in the past that if he does happen to bulk up over the summer, any weight/body mass is quickly gone once he starts playing games. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

James Hird and Michael Tuck weren't musclemen. The kid did it at 16, he can do it now, he just needs responsibility and people using him. He has that in the reserves, the firsts have a different pecking order. _________________ Get back on top. |

At his age the only way i could put on weight was to put sinkers in my pockets.
If we could switch his metabolism to 35 years old, we might have a show.
Failing that, focus on lean muscle and core strength. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I was a big fan of Wills last year. I think he will be good. Pity about his injuries this year. |
