Well...
Firstly I must say that I am shocked that Chicago have traded Jimmy Butler to Minnesota.
Boston had a better offer on the table and they didn't take it.
Instead, Chicago gets a player who has torn his ACL. I just cannot believe they've pulled the trigger on this one.
The Bulls also now have a team full of guards; Wade, Rondo, Valentine, Grant, Cannan, Carter-Williams, Morrow and Payne.
They managed to keep trash bag Mirotić. Lauvergne, Portis and Zisper the other forwards with Lopez and Felicio the Centers.
I cant believe how badly they've turned this team into an absolute basket case.
And doubtful to land anyone significant in free agency.
Minnesota on the other hand are now looking great going into the new season. Don't know if they're ready to contend just yet, but they've started ti put together a solid lineup. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I am rapt. JB is exactly what we need. Defence, toughness, leadership.
That being said, Chicago did get some nice pieces in return. Lavine has star potential. |

Yes but when you consider after having all the Rose ACL problems, Chicago would want a healthy player. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

CP3 just traded to Houston.
With questions over Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, Paul George, LaMarcus Aldridge and Gordon Hayward amongst others, there's going to be plenty to talk about when/if all these guys move around the league. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Griffin stays with LAC.
PG13 was traded to OKC to team up with Westbrook. (No one saw this one coming).
Just makes you wonder who can actually challenge the Cavs in the East?
All the best teams and the teams that will improve will be in the west.
Many of the playoff teams from the East have been weakened. Mainly Atlanta, Chicago and Indiana. The Bucks and Wizards are yet to do anything to make them a better side. The Raptors could still lose Lowry and haven't brought anyone in yet. None of those teams could beat the Cavs in 2017. They wont in 2018.
That just leaves Boston. They've added one of the promising rookies in Tatum, but they need more than that. They've missed out on PG13 and Griffin. They've missed out on Butler and look like missing out on Anthony. Gordon Hayward could be their guy, but does this give them the team to make the final? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
