Just what are the Aussie selectors on ??

Initially, Ashton Agar gets the nod, ahead of a wayyyyyyyyyy better performed Jon Holland.
Then Mitchell Swepson replaces Mitchell Starc. Yeah, right. With 2 spinners (and Maxy) already in the squad, they replace an opening quick with an untried leg spinner.

Hold on. It gets worse.

Josh Hazlewood breaks down and is sent home. Who replaces him ? Steve O'Keefe. A NSW left arm ortho (same as Agar and Holland), who is still under a ban from the NSW Board, gets called up.
It's not like they have 4 more Tests to play. It's a 2 Test series.

So, what will the bowling attack look like ? Is Agar already out of favour - to be replaced by O'Keefe ?
Will Cummins be the only quick ? With Cartwright to bat at #6, pushing Maxwell to #7.
Will it be a straight swap ? O'Keefe for Haz - meaning we go in with 3 front-line spinners ?

Here's one from left field. Usman Khawaja out (2 shockers in the first Test) and Hilton Cartwright in, to bat at #3. In his last first class match, he batted #3 for WA, in Shield Cricket. He scored 70 (90 balls) & 170 n.o. (173). He would partner Pat Cummins with the new ball, for a few overs, before the spinners would come on. Batting him at first drop would allow Maxy to retain the #6, with Matt Wade at 7 and Agar or O'Keefe at 8.

Smith, Warner add valuable runs in Test.

Steve Smith (56*) and Dave Warner (33*) have consolidated after the early wicket of Matt Renshaw (4), on day 2 of the second Test, against Bangladesh.

Earlier, Nathan Lyon (7/94) helped the visitors dismiss the hosts for 305.

Aust: 1/95.
