"I disagree. Your points about the difficult challenge facing us tomorrow are true, but your final conclusion is wrong. This is not a 'season defining' game. If we lose, we will be 5-7, needing to win 7 of our remaining 10 games to make the 8. That is doable. Obviously, a win will make it so much easier to make the finals. Pies by 38 points."

"Statistically and intellectually you are correct but for me when it comes to football intangibles are often at play and tomorrow they are.
A victory would be a massive boost to the psychology of the whole club and team IMO and set us up for a strong run at finals.
A loss and we'll have to get ourselves up emotionally and physically after the bye as we try to just square the win/loss ledger the following 2 rounds with any loss only compounding that problem."

"Can't disagree with that. Fingers crossed we win."

Honestly doubt we can win given the loss of our one ultra-forward in Jamie, but hoping against hope..... go Pies _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

With Gawn out they lose their single most important player which should give us first use.
Key is to come out hard physically and make their mock tuff guys quiver in their boots a bit.
Do that and we can run the play to suit ourselves. |

Well, let's hope so - but as the early part of this season shows, it avails you little how many times you go forward if you can't buy a goal. Anyway, helmets on, chinstrap tight, here's hoping. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Overnight I sacrificed two of my best goats in honour of the football Gods.
Should that prove to still not be enough and we're behind at 3/4 time DTM has graciously offered his right nut for the win. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |
