Nah, not screwed at all. This is it. Time to be free. Nothing to lose, and everything to win. When Tay gets back, we have as much quality as last year on the field. Our defence is OK, despite the loss of Langdon, given both Moore and Roughhead. The defensive structures that we have established are top class, as illustrated by the fact that the opposition are never scoring heavily against us. Isaac Quaynor, judging from tonight, is something special. We have Jamie Elliott, who is some kind of substitute for Stepho while we wait for his totally unfair and illegitimate suspension to be completed. There is no objective reason why we can't still contend. I have faith. I think next week that WC will be super confident, given our form and a home ground advantage, but I think a qualitiative turning point will occur. I am tipping Pies by 5 points. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

We showed ticker tonight - it was just some crucial 50/50 moments that cost us. All is not lost, yet... _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing |

Maybe Monday review Bucks should show our boys how the Bulldogs went about it. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

I watched the Cats and Dogs play tonight, and the game was just as bad as the one we and the Hawks played. Both low-scoring highly-defensive games of fumbles and errors that finally blew out in the final quarter. We actually outscored Geelong too, haha. It just shows a lot of games are being played the same right now -- except the bloody Tigers.
We lost to the Hawks by 4 points. It's really not all doom and gloom.
Anyway, to the OP -- I agree, let's just get back to basics. North did it under Rhyce Shaw, and they knocked off two top four teams (Richmond and us). It might not last the rest of the season, but winners are grinners and we need that confidence boost. |
