In 2 weeks we will play high flying Adelaide, the measuring stick for any improvement. This game will surely show where we are as a team. I am slightly impressed by our improvement from last year, when the season was over before it began after the nightmare at the SCG. but as usual, this team never follows up a big win with something better, it lapses into mediocrity. I said somewhere else that we are turning into Footscray, where loyalty and milestones outrank wins. But it took them 62 years!

Look, this team could get beaten today by 5 goals and roll Adelaide [provided Wells is in the team and fit] that's the team and potential that's in there. They can't maintain it though, and play cameo games of brilliance amongst a tonne of crap, ala say Paul McCartney's solo career, rather than his time in the Beatles, which was hit-after-hit like the Pies of 2010-11.

That's because Paul McCartney died in 1966, and was replaced by Billy Shepherd. Duh!
