Should have slaughtered them. Instead we struggled to put them away with inaccurate kicking. Happy to win two in a row.

Note: What a massive crowd. Confused

Happy to take the 4 pts.About 3>4 goals short of a win we SHOULD have had but I'll take the weather into account. 3 players who should never play again are Blair ,Broomhead and Faz. Sidebottom should be on notice that his piss poor effectiveness is harming the team.He and Phillips,on his preferred side to boot, didn't make the distance from 15 mrs out with an uncontested snap shot. Set shots for goal are beyond deplorable.Players need to be fined or dropped for continual crap kicks from inside 30.Brisbane barely missed a set shot from ANYWHERE!
Great to see Shaz play a good solid game. Will only get better and I doubt he will not be in the team again. He should end Sinclair and Ramsays aspirations.
We really need to put that piss poor performance behind us and get together for the trip to the west and knock off the Dockers ,who no doubt will be stinging from an even worse performance Ethan ours.

Plenty of bagging for Sidey.

All who have voted in the GB Medal gave him the 5 votes.

Not the % boost many predicted.

But at the end of the day you take a 45 point win against anyone.

Keep in mind that I missed the first half, but from what I saw, it's even more evident that we need to find that KPF. Moore had a terrific day, but I saw lots of inside 50s to no target.

A lot of our small forwards had plenty of shots, but even they were not kicking straight.

18.21 we kicked. Thats 21 behinds. So in one sense, it was a smashing. We had a lot more of the ball, but we just didnt kick straight.

A lot of negativity for a 45 point win.

Don't get me wrong, I've never played the game at the highest level or spent any time in a coaches box outside of the under 18's local league, but a 45 point win? I'm going to enjoy it.

Happy with the way we finished the match.

That we are running games out is the only positive.
The disposal by hand and foot was borderline inept.

Brisbane simply too green and inexperienced to take any advantage of it.

That really should have been a 12+ goal belting, save for the sheer incompetence at goal kicking; which points the finger at Elliott and Fasolo.

Thought DeGoey bludged his way through the match; one of those games where securing his pick for Beams in 2014 looked to be a fail.

Dunn, Howe and Goldy have been awesome.
Maynard was good, The Berg did well.

If we beat Freo next week, i'd be shocked.
Expect them to bounce back hard from that flogging they copped.

FFS we won the game, can't believe there are still supporters trying to nit pick and bitch and moan.

Well at least the REAL supporters are happy to string a couple of wins together and to start building momentum into the season. Only a game out of the 8, finals is very doable.

Additionally, Jason Dunstall was very complementary of Collingwood holding Scharenberg back to give him a solid block of VFL football prior to bringing him back to the one's. Despite many impatient posters on here seeking to rush him back weeks ago.

At least 4 "effective" possessions to a teammate under pressure resulting in turnovers.

Lots of dinky, nothing kicks

Sidey got BOG from the ABC commentators, just saying. Look, it ended up a fairly good win, 45 points, take that anyday. But, we do some lazy fits and starts, and we seem to go better against the better teams than the lesser ones, psychological or what, damned if I know. I still think Fas needs a rest, and Blair, time to bring in Brown, and Kirby, and we will be better for the return of Varcoe and Reid, both badly missed today, we do have room for improvements, no question of that. But, we won by seven goals, on a wet track with poor umpiring, so take that and move on folks. Smile

Good to see we got reward for effort in the end. Probably should have won by 12 goals plus. Leaked too many goals for the low amount of inside 50's.

Still happy to see Scharenberg back and Broomhead getting time. Great that Moore, Elliot and Faz are now starting to look a bit more potent up forward.

All our mids got plenty of it.

Maynard continues to improve despite the obligatory brain fades.

Next week will determine if we can build a base to challenge.
