It's forecasted to be a wet day, so I hope we've learnt from the mistakes we made against Carlton a few weeks back when we didn't adjust to the wet conditions very well.

We need to consolidate what we did last week and get back-to-back wins for the first time this season. There's no excuses for not winning today.

Is it even possible to lose this game vs the Bears on the MCG today? Lets hope not.

Smile Everyone is playing us next!!! Gees if one looks at the AFL ladder just now we are playing Brizzi, the Dockers and Melbourne next............
Back to the topic, as much as I am nervous before any pies game we really need to win this to stay in touch. I've only managed to get one game out of the 6 played so far hope things change tomorrow.

Gonna be a wet one so I hope we don't get too carried away with the handballs. Keeping it simple and matching their intensity should go a fair way to big win.

I'm just hoping to see a concerted 4 qtr effort today, which should!! see us have a 65 pt victory and move to 12th , with Freo and Mwlb to come. Both winnable and put us back on an even keel.Go boys. We turned the corner last week so let's keep it going.

Who was that nong (in the other thread) who sneered that Buckley would probably say we needed to develop some consistency?

Consistency? Bulldust!

We have consistency! We consistently kick it sideways and backwards, handball into trouble, miss easy set shots from 20 metres out, and follow up good, fighting wins against quality sides with meek, spineless surrenders to third-rate plodders.

What we want is some inconsistency! Let's surprise everyone by doing something completely out of character - viz, coming off a good win and thrashing the carp out of a weak side.

We are $1.07 and they are $9.00. Being unbackable favourites has been a bit of a problem for this team.
