I was watching the game on Tv and I'm pretty sure I heard the magpie faithful booing their own team relentlessly for a large chunk of the first and second quarters.

So come on, be honest, were you one of them.

If you were one of them, did you also participate in the Collingwood chant at the end of the game.

If you did both of those things, then I have two questions for you

1. do you think we can play finals?
2. do you think Nathan has lost the playing group?

I didn't boo but l was going off my head about how shit we were playing. Switching to the other side then switching back to where it came from, kicking backwards........waiting slow moving footy.

The Hawks just pressed up and waited for the mistake.

I don't get the logic of the criticism of Collingwood members and supporters who voice criticism at the team after a quarter like that. Just because the performance changes does not make the criticism less valid or appropriate. In fact, you saw the loudest criticism of the team from Buckley himself, in the huddle.

PS, I did not boo but I gave them an almighty spray, which is my right as a card-carrying member, especially after a performance like that first quarter.

Blind faith in a team and club leads to no accountability...and the response we saw from the players was partly a product because they KNEW they were absolutely abysmal in that first quarter. And it is sometimes our job to remind them, however harsh that is.

Did not boo and will not boo our players irrespective of the way the game was being played. I am a supporter not a critic. That said I was getting vey frustrated by the slow play and the team playing with absolutely no confidence. We were shocking in that first quarter and let's be honest anybody who supports the Pies would not have been happy. I did boo the. Umpires who were living to the slogan Free Kick Hawthorn from much of the game

Wasn't at the game but I have no problem with supporters booing the style of backwards, side to side slow football on display in the 1st quarter.

People were rightfully annoyed and given our recent history against the hawks seeing us playing like that when they're ripe for the picking would have been doubling frustrating.

People pay good money to support the club and are free to show emotion in a manner they like within reason.

This was reasonable and a good wake up call to Ed if he needed one that all is not well within supporter ranks and we demand improvement in year 6 of a coach.

I thought people were booing the umpires as per usual, maybe people are reading too much into it.

I didn't think it was booing as such but there was a lot of negative noise made every time the team kicked it backwards, but that's been happening for years!

Had people round for dinner had the tv on silent, but i saw the score and snipets of play in the first quater. Can't blame suppoters for being annoyed the score line suggest the team just had not turned up.

Still don't think he is the right man for the job and he will have an easy ride again this week and its looking like he will limp to the bye.

What I did like was his quarter time spray and it looked pretty good on TV...

I was at home watching the first qtr fiasco on tele, just totally gutted, shaking my head like joffa was, I even threw me can of jack and coke at the screen, and just missed it. then I turned the tele off fuming, put it back on just after half time, and got a real pleasant surprise. !

I wasn't booing, but like everyone around me, we were deeply unhappy with what the team produced in the first quarter.

I'm glad Bucks felt the same during the quarter time huddle.
