I don't rate Carlton at all - for very good reasons. The main reason we lost to Carl was a combination of selection blunders like Cox (when its pissing down), Ramsay and Broomhead (all of which deserved to be dropped before this game).
We then continued with the overuse of handball in wet conditions and refused to go straight to goal but preferred the sideways and backward disposals.
When we play like that we get beaten.
Is it any wonder that our best quarters this year have been when we play on all at all costs and play direct footy, and our worst when we over handball and try to round the cape.
The acid is on Buckley this week because I want to see the side play fast and attacking football from the opening bounce. Surely he has to drum that message into them when it is so obvious to everyone that is how we play our best footy. He just has to get them playing that way. |

Well I rate Carlton. I have them somewhere between the bottom four clubs and the four clubs just below the top 8, so anywhere from 14th to 10th for me.
Brisbane are wooden spooners to me so it all adds up to an easy win, before we get belted by Freemantle in WA and lose the Melbourne game. We don't have the pace to keep up with Freemantle unless we change the side around (which Buckley won't do) and then Melbourne have the midfield to cover us (although Grundy will have a field day without Gawn and our defenders will go ok without Hogan). |

The bluescum are only good in the pissing rain, dragging teams back to their shit level, id love to play them again, later in the year, on a hard and dry sunny day track, love it. We will push Freo, seems like you pay no attention to how we should have beaten flag favourites GWS, and as for the Deees, I simply cannot see these toffs beating us four times in a row, North showed how vulnerable they are, you really overrate them too. No Gawn or Hogan, will help us immensely. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

If he does that we'll still beat Brisbane but it won't help us against Freo because Crisp, Greenwood and Blair are too slow. Melbourne on the other hand don't like the tough stuff so it's essential that Greenwood plays. Crocker and Wills would be handy as well against Melbourne because they like it tough. |

Sharenberg has to get a game....this is getting ludicrous....the kid is going to walk if he does not start getting rewarded. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Or, it could be that the Club and Scharenberg have a plan in place for him to return in a predetermined round to get matches into his legs so he doesn't break down again. His time will come shortly, but if it isn't this week it will be soon. |

I've got a feeling that Bucks knows better than any of us who is the best replacement for Aish this week. |

Early reports for a wet day Sunday, hopefully we don't apply the same Carlton game plan.
