Franklin would cost almost as much as Grundy.

He's in his 30s.

Patton is 26 and would be on less than half as much as Franklin.

Have a lie down. We're not losing Grundy, and if we did, we wouldn't then go and spend it on Franklin.

Lets just keep it at that

I'll bet he does. He went to Sydney for big $ but also hoping for another flag. He didn't get it, they're about to rebuild, and we're close. Doesn't mean we want him just because he wants us.

In saying that, I'd be surprised if he wanted to move back to Melbourne, I reckon he's pretty happy up there.

It has been said that Collingwood are a good Full Forward away from becoming a top side, but where the f are we going to get him from?

Feel like Jonathon Patton is the new Scott Gumbleton.

Josh Bruce is what I’m hearing.

We are heavily into him.

Word on the street is Bulldogs bound.

From the other players listed;

Daniher wants to go to Sydney (And be out of Melbourne). That'd be something though.

Jenkins is getting long in the tooth and isnt what I'd call a star FF.

Tex is unreliable and also pushing 30.

And Lance is staying in Sydney. Not to mention hes well into his 30s and on the big dollars.

If we're talking about someone that can hold the fort for 12 months while we are in the window, then I guess one of these guys will do, but in the long term, we need to look elsewhere.

Bruce, 27, would be a better fit for now. Cameron would be sensational, but if GWS get up and win, would he want to leave? Patton is another name being thrown around, but is always in the stands.

Looks like another year of Cox and Checkers, as we don't have any first round draft picks or salary cap to play with. FWIW I think Jenkins will go to the dopers if Daniher goes to Sydney, wasn't he originally from Essendrug or developed by them?
