Warburton Lad, Tannin, Swoop, Cam, Dyso, Dave the Man, Rudeboy, Donny, Monco Matt,Presti35,The Staunton, thats just a few guys off the top of my head that are wonderful, passionate, thoughtful posters, and have been bringing the goods for years. To say 75% of posters on this forum have no idea is wrong. I enjoy your analysis mooretreloar you clearly have a good understanding of the game but so do a lot of people here.

Marking Scale:
Wrong (W)
Very Wrong (VW)
Absolutely Wrong (AW)
Absolutely and Utterly Clueless (AAUC)

A list of things that I have been told this week on Nick's and their mark:
- Richmond are a good side and overran Melbourne last Monday night because they had bigger bodies. AW.
- Hawthorn's rebuild can be seen, but ours can't. AAUC
- Buckley is responsible for player's inaccurate goal kicking. AW.
- Buckley is responsible for the skill errors of players. AW.
- Buckley has lost the players. AAUC.
- Buckley can't coach. AAUC
- Buckley does not have a game plan. AAUC
- Hine is a dud. AAUC
- Our list is no good. AAUC
- The youth on our list are not going to make us a better side, as they play more games and get experience. AAUC
- The purpose of the draft is not to make the competition even and the AFL has not structured the competition with the view of having a different premier each and every year. AAUC
- Geelong's list is better than ours. AW
- Chris Scott is a better coach than Buckley. AW.
- Geelong are not reliant on Dangerfield and Selwood. AAUC.
- Geelong are closer to a flag than us. AW.
- Buckley has been in charge of six years of gradual decline. AAUC

Number 2 is the winner of the post that was as far off the mark as is possible this week on Nick's.

You will notice that none of the items on this list were rated on the lowest mark on my scale and thompsoc and 5 from the wing on debut wonder a) why I indicated that 75% of people on this site (refer to the negative posters on the Buckley Debate thread, as the majority of the culprits) don't have the faintest idea what they are posting about or b) why I don't agree with their opinions.

Must be tough being perfect???

Useless post award goes to.......YOU!

Refer above lihei.

Get your hand off it Daryl.
That sums up you.
And yep we are 2 and 4 and missed finals for the last 3 years.
And yes we are 50 to 1 with the bookies to win the flag.
We are flying.
Never been better.

Yup sums it up!

And again, why does someone so much 'smarter' than us want to bother with us! The mind boggles!

You'd think Nathan, I mean MT, would just be content to soak up a long overdue win than coming on here to critic the posters on Nicks.

Or that Robbo, I mean KM, would be busy penning his latest hit piece.

Haha nice, I like your style haha

This has me intrigued. Is it your opinion or is this based on some research?

Fair bit of head wobble about this thread.

When one sets oneself up as the suppository of all wisdom, well, humpty dumpty knows what comes next. Silly and unnecessary. The results speak for themselves. We all want wins, lots of them. Everything that goes on here is just a mixture of camaraderie, hypothesizing, speculating, bullsh!tting, and occasionally analyzing facts with different conclusions. It is what it is, you don't have to take on the whole bar to be accepted. Not all heroes wear capes.

Agree, wholeheartedly with the names that you listed Funkadelic. However, from my time in this forum, they are unfortunately in the minority. 75% may be overstating, but if it is, it is only by a few percent.

Not my intention, Cam. Nor, I am saying that I am the suppository of all wisdom.

This thread came about because two posters, one in particular, indicated that I give no credence to other people's opinions. I certainly do consider other people's opinions, but what I won't do is pander to posters and validate their opinion if it is rubbish.

Thus, I listed the incorrect things that I was told on Nick's this week to indicate why I wasn't validating poster's opinions. No more, no less.

You really seem to have a fixation with me. I get a mention yet again. That must go back to me disagreeing with your opinion that if JDG had been playing we would have won 3 more games. That dissent really seemed to upset you. My JDG comment was omitted from your list, as was my comment that list making is often a sign of someone with an obsessive compulsive disorder.

Despite the reference to me, none of those items listed are attributable to me. My position is quite simple. I believe that we have a good young list but I have lost faith in the coach.

Why don't you name those that you associate with each item in your list? It would prevent you from fabricating your facts.

I don't mind reading your posts as you are very passionate about the club, but I will take potshots at you whenever you say something stupid, as I assume many others will, because of the way you portray yourself. Claiming that you joined the board to explain to its members what is occurring because they do not understand, that 75% of posters have no idea, and that your opinions are always right because you know they are, is a sign of low emotional intelligence. I mentioned that to you yesterday and you also forgot to include that in your list.

This board is not a repository for academic thesis. It is a forum to discuss Collingwood matters. There will be statements made that are true, false, exaggerated, hopeful, glum, fact based, considered, anger based etc. all based upon personal feelings. If they are wrong, who cares? If you are going to prepare a list for each of them you are going to be very busy.

No, it goes back to you swearing at me, making assertions about my posts, attributing things to me that I didn't post and then continuing with 2 and 3 after it was proved otherwise.

Take as many potshots as you like, it just shows what type of person that you are. If you take potshots at me, expect that the response from me will be ten times harder than anything you can dish out. Your call if you want to continue. I would be very careful in saying anything that I say is stupid because unlike you and a lot of others on this site, a) I have some idea what I am talking about and b) I actually think about what I post before I post and as I am typing.

None of the items are attributable you? The one about the drafting is all you, this is where this started, when you decided to swear and get personal.

This is a football board, so I only listed the things that are incorrect about football, not me. We all aren't as self centred as you are 5. You know nothing about my emotional intelligence, which is quite high by the way, nor am I OCD. Making lists is actually a sign of someone that is logical and organised. Maybe you should try it.

You seem to think that your intelligence level is somehow special and you can a) read the minds of people from what they post and b) analyse them what you post. It is comical. However, the terms that you are throwing out tell me, you are either a psychologist or you have read some books that make you think that you are expert in the field.

In conclusion, clearly this site is not an academic thesis. However, if you and others on this site post things that are utter rubbish about Collingwood or any other side in the comp, then I will call you on it. If you don't like this, then think about what you are going to post before you post it and decide if it has any merit and if it doesn't don't post it. If you decide to post it and I don't agree, then don't start posting absolute rubbish that I should validate your opinion.

I was in two minds as to whether to respond to you or not. I would like to respond to your latest gobbledegook but others will probably find that boring. As you have OCD it will probably never end though. On balance though, I decided to respond as I enjoy the sport of it.

We think very differently. I joined this board after reading it for a long time, as I enjoyed reading what many posters wrote. You joined because you believed it was your duty to correct the ignorant masses and to show them the error of their ways. You have reinforced your view in your latest post, which again reinforces the low emotional intelligence point.

As to the swearing issue, I said something along the lines of "If the AFL was pissing on you, you would believe them when they said it was raining". Quite mild stuff.

What do your references to 2 and 3 mean? Your list has no numbers. Are they references to the 2nd and 3rd items in your list? They relate to comments about Richmond and Hawthorn. They are two clubs that I have not commented on for months.

The reason I asked you to put names to comments is that I suspected you were fabricating your allegations. It transpires that is what you have done with respect to the draft allegation. You have lied about what you say you were told. I stated that "the system" is not about producing different premiers every year, as since 1986 the draft, salary cap, exclusive zones, academies, COLA etc has been skewed in favour of the new teams to ensure that they have success. You have somehow managed to twist that into a disagreement about the purpose of an unfettered draft alone, which is something that I have not commented upon. In a way that disappoints me, as I have upset you, yet I really cannot even take the credit for it.

I am not a psychologist but my guess is that my summation of you is quite close to the mark.

Why would you think that I want you to validate my opinions? Which opinion, the one that you just made up last night, and then disagreed with? Or a different opinion that you just made up? You do realize though that you don't even need me? You can just as easily post your own opinions and then respond to yourself, arguing as to whether you are correct or not. That would save time, and prevent the idiots on this site from interfering in the process wouldn't it?

I am not a psychologist.

I have quite eclectic reading tastes and read a paper on OCD years ago. List making was cited as one of the common symptoms. Supposedly as part of the compulsion to have order and control, and the feeling of helplessness when that does not occur, such as we are seeing here.

Now that I have given it some more thought, if Mooretreloar does have that disability I should probably leave him alone as things are bad enough for him already.

Are you having trouble comprehending basic sentences again? 2 and 3 refer to you making assertions about my posts and attributing things to me, which I didn't post. Again, you are trying to do this again in your last post.

I do not fabricate things, never have, never will. This is an insult and it seems to be very prevalent on this site, as a deflection technique when you have been made to look like a fool.

I didn't post the names of who posted the incorrect things because I took into account thinkpositive's post, where she suggested that I refrain from posting the list. I compromised, chose to post the list, but exclude who posted them. The posters that posted the items listed know who they are, including you.

You can say whatever you want, but you indicated that the purpose of the draft was not to make the competition even and the concept the AFL wants is not to have a different premier every year. This is what Damien posted, which you vehemently disagreed with and then when I agreed with Damien, your swearing and personal attacks against me began. I don't how much clearer your view can be, which by the way is absolutely and utterly clueless, like the rest of your posts.

Keep making assumptions about my emotional intelligence and the rest of your conclusions about me. You don't have a clue about me, as you don't with respect to football.

Your assumptions and conclusions about me say a lot more about you than me. However, unlike you I won't stoop to your level and note what your personal characteristics are, as they are quite evident. I give you the tip my summation of you would be more accurate than yours of me by the length of the Flemington straight.
