Some of the better judges tipped us.
Great great win but if you know the history against Geelong under Buckley you shouldn't be to surprised.
Geelong like Richmond aren't as good as the 5-0 record suggested and there run of fortune finally ended today.

So good to see Wells out there and having the impact we always expected. Not bad seeing Jamie either.
This game was simply a great team performance. Our team defence was more impressive than the improved ball movement and scoring. Kept the Cats to 78 when they'd not scored under 100 all year. One on one our defence would have struggled badly, but we put on enough pressure and covered well. _________________ Well done boys! |

Bucks knows how to beat the Cats. 6 of the last 8 now. |
Is it that the cats don't play as tight as others ? Because it seems impossible to relate that side to the ones that played Richmond and the Aints....
Good to see you posting again, Inkling, you're always a sound, balanced judge. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

We won! We played terrific footy. Let's be positive, far too much negativity here. _________________ kymbo |

That's one small step for a Magpie, one giant leap for Collingwood, as neil Armstrong would say. !! Great effort, terrific win, one for the ages. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Yep, agree. Keeping Selwood and Danger quiet certainly helped too! Well done Greenwood. I think Danger had various opponents, but it was a fabulous defensive effort by mids as well. |

As I said in the game thread. I genuinely believe if we played more through the guts like we did today we'd be sitting on top of the ladder. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

I figured it out, I know how we can make finals now! Just ask the AFl to fixture us against the Cats every week, no problem!!!
Wow, that was the best win I've seen under Buckley, seriously mean that. We didn't blow them away but we controlled the game beautifully. Our aggression was tapered and it was just at the right tempo, not timid, not insane, just right and we were able to maintain it for the whole game. Finding the right tempo is what we needed. We also limited our errors, there were a few massive brain farts but all in all it was excellent.
We also scored 100+ points and our goal kicking accuracy was very good, nothing too frustrating there. But, and there is always a but, but, can we keep this effort going? Will we play the same against the Blues, or put in a shocker? This is the challenge, consistency.
Damn, it feels so good to have a great win, almost forgot what it felt like. I feel great and not miserable. I like this feeling!! _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.
