I'd say by round 8 we should have a settled 22 & know what sort of side we have. Barring injuries of course

At present...

Missing Wells & De Goey from best 22... maybe Scharenberg, Phillips & Dunn

Elliott underdone
Ramsay underdone, coming off a knee
Reid underdone and coming off a hip operation
Schade new and just starting to look settled
Hoskin Elliott new, showing form but will get better as he gets used to things

Moore & Crisp's form has to improve, as does Fasolo's kicking

Tend to agree, I personally will give them until the bye to click, that gives the underdone players and late starters time to come up to speed.

Current woes aside, we could very well win the first 6 after the bye, if we're 6:4 in the back half that gives us some momentum going into next season and will probably save the coaches job if he's not gone by the bye.

Um, why is this even a question? All teams have new players come in every season,

Half way down Swanny talking about 80 games for these boys to gel. Our current crop, how many would have played this many together? Pendles and Sidey in the mids, not one fwd or back. That's telling!
