I dont get how it works?

For some reason, when the ball is dislodged in the tackle its play on or holding the ball depending on the color of the jersey and the time of the game?

AND, when a player handballs to no one when tackled its play on or holding the ball depending on the jersey?

Do i have that right?

I have been saying this for 2 years. Certain players like Martin get a wekk to get rid of it but we get milliseconds. Kelly is another one who gets benefit of the doubt.

It has been a bit baffling.

It also seems an incorrect centre bounce is only called back depending on which team was disadvantaged

I’m just commenting on rule interpretation , did you have a different agenda you wanted to discuss?

There are plenty of threads to discuss our incompetence and our problems. This one is to discuss the mystifying issues of holding the ball interpretation.

They scored some goals out of it, and i saw ayt least three in their backline that were at least the same. i very rarely say to myself "oooh, we were lucky on that one".

could it really all be explained by my own bias?

Totally agree. Also high contacts have different interpretations. Pendles got his head torn off, no free and WC kick a goal. Kennedy had an arm over Quaynor’s shoulder — got a free for the tackle and kicked a goal.

Also jumping into the player on the ground — WC got away with that all night. Mihocek on his back, WC player jumped into his face — ball up. FFS.

This. I didn’t think you were allowed to jump on the mark unless umpire called play on which doesn’t happen on a set shot.

It also happened late in the 2nd qtr when Checkers kicked his goal but watch man on the mark jumps as he kicks.

Noticed we did it a couple of times Madgen against Oscar Allen in 3rd qtr.

Be something to notice across weekend, it may be allowed?

One ump told the player: "Jumping only."

So it's fine.
