You've got to admit INXS that this was a fairly cool bump?
And arguing over who posts more seems quite pointless and silly (we all know i post the most). |
Some of us prefer quality to quantity.   |

Like determining whose correct when a guy and girl argue! It’s all subjective, however what I enjoy about this forum is put forward thoughts and opinions based on the facts of the day and elicit healthy debate.

I’ve always rated Sidey as one of our best and if you couldn’t see it until this season, then you have no idea about football. Hence the bump. |

Schuey all due respect mate but that's not true. You don't have to have rated a player always to then say everyone who questioned that player at times doesn't know anything about football
I've seen many times player being maligned in here and then turn things on there heads and become acknowledged as champions.
Remember some of the comments made about Dane Swan in his early days ?
Same applies when players decide to leave the club for whatever reason. Remember how people praised Daisy Thomas then abused him when he went to Carlton (which is actually ok by me no ollongeood player should ever go to Carlton)
I also vividly remember many nicks posters calling Dayne Beams everything they could lay there tongues around when he said he was going home to be with a father who was battling cancer. Some said his father was never ill and it was all about money. I wonder if some sit back now and think geez I might have been a bit harsh on him when his father passed away last month.
My point is I've been one of Sidey's biggest critics not because I didn't think he could play but I wanted his best more consistently. I'm big enough to start a thread giving him the credit he's due. His form is currently impeccable and only a fool wouldn't acknowledge that. It doesn't mean anything more than one person rating a player higher than another. There personal opinions |

Given the tenet of the possible trade was that Steele being swapped in a Tom Lynch deal, it would imply that “I rate Steele to get the deal”! Remember Shannon Grant swap for Wayne Schwass? It’s okay to actually rate currency and sell it. That aside like all Pies fans, I’m ecstatic with Steele’s form.

Probably still the only Carlton player, along with Betts, to play in a Grand Final, in the last 10 years or so.
