Why are we playing a "home" match at Etihad?

I wasnt very happy with Phillips at half time. As well as smith. Those 2 goals he gave away could have been crucial. And the one from Smith was sloppy.

However Schade really impressed me tonight. I think he will have an important role on Reiwolt next week. Ramsay I'd like to see have another crack as well. These 2 guys really proved me wrong Schade is a real competitor and Ramsay's daring runs with expirence will hopefully become a good asset for us. Maynard was immense. And looks like the type to beat an Eddie Betts type is a big game.

Phillips really disappointed with those 2 turnovers but boy he is a runner and did some good things in the forward half. So it wouldnt be wise to drop him, he could really come good. Like Broomhead. Smith however is a dead man walking. Langdon seems like a good replacement. Dunn is an option as is Oxley. However if Wells is ready I would bring him straight in to add some real class and pace coming out of Defence.

Wells will be right at home at the Etihad. His Old stomping ground. Moore will come good i have faith. Especially with Jamie Elliot coming back. Elliot and Faz will be livewire targets and Hoskin is about to explode. With the 3 Amigo's buzzing around the 50, Moore may relish with a bit more freedom...

Make no mistake about it ladies and Gentlemen, Wells and Elliot are genuine Superstars when in flight. Its so exciting to ponder the difference they will make in the back half (Wells) and forward half (Elliot) respectively.

FB Maynard Schade Howe
HB Ramsay Reid Wells
C Crisp Pendlebury Steele
HF Varcoe Moore Greenwood
FF Elliot Fasolo Hoskin
Foll Grundy Adams Treloar
Int White Mayne Gold Broom/Phillips

If Wells and Elliot are ready its a tough call to drop 2 players. Smith would go for mine and Phillips vs Broomhead is an interesting battle but i would stick with Broom. I think the interchange would be more balanced with Broom and Phillips on but who would I drop out of White and Mayne? I dont really want to do neither. But Mayne would prob go on form

^ tough call to drop the 2nd player Phillips/Broom if Wells and Elliot are ready. 1st player dropped would be Smith without a doubt. Thats an easy one

If Elliott gets through the Magoos unscathed tomorrow, then I think he should replace Mayne.

That's the most likely scenario; providing he doesn't pull up sore in the days following.

Another shit fixture decision by the club. Why on earth would we allow the Aints to have a home game. Sometimes our club hierarchy are as dumb as dog shit.

It's an annual event these days.

Just another example of the charity we are expected to provide to the clubs unable to stand on their own two feet.

AFL does the fixturing not us. I think each team has to play certain number of games at Etihad but cannot understand why it is against a team who plays their home games there. Anyway great win last night. My team for the saints:
Howe Schade Sack
Adams Reid Pendles
Varcoe Treloar Sidey
Mayne White WHE
Faz Moore Elliott
Grundy Greenwood Wells
Phillips Maynard Broomy Crisp Ramsay Daics

Different? Maybe but it's what I like.

If Elliott has a pulse next Sunday, he comes in for Mayne.

Actually, the way Mayne is going, I'm not sure a pulse in mandatory.

This!!!

I'd bring in a mannequin to replace Mayne. Mayne is a flop. I'd be happy to put him on the LTI list and put games into a player who might actually make a difference to our team.
