Glad to see Elliott got a game. Dunn must have been very close given his form on the track.

Yep, that's the consensus. I think it was more a couple key senior Crows players and officials who confused his " good nature " with being soft. The rest is history and he was replaced by a notoriously hard task master in Phillip Walsh.
I tend to think when you combine both those stories about his coaching history, he is probably the " perfect " fit as an assistant coach.

Time will tell.
