Anyone know what has happened to the team selection video?

Every club has a video each selection night detailing the ins and last year we had one too. Where has it gone?

Pert said a few years ago that multimedia content would be a huge feature of the website. Seems to me that we have the bare minimum in this regard compared to other clubs.

I thought we built a set inside the Holden Centre to produce more shows? Our online coverage is very mediocre IMV

I'm more upset that they welched on uploading replays of the VFL on the website, personally.

Is that true?
I can't believe that.
When I can't go ( which is often I used to like watching the replay)
Why oh why would you stop that.
It wouldn't cost anything to throw that up.
This club is stuffed truly stuffed.
According to someone last Friday night the social club wasn't open and now this.

According to the website, these people are employed in the media team.

http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/club/staff

Quote:
Collingwood Media

Stephen Rielly - General Manager of Media and PR

Sarah Allen - Media Manager

Brayden Cocks - Head of Content Production

Jess Milner - Communications Coordinator

Luke Mason - Collingwood Media Content Producer

Glen Moriarty - Collingwood Media Producer

Damon Jackman - Camera Operator/ Editor

Josh Cable - Camera Operator/ Editor

Sam Gastin - Digital Media and Production Coordinator

Meagan Lechucki - Media Officer

Shannon Collins - Graphic Designer

What do these people do all day? The videos are 80 percent uploads of AFL videos from the main site.

No pictures anymore from training too.

The AFLW team had to move their B&F count to a tiny little room in the MCG tonight because someone else had booked the Glasshouse.

you can take this argument one more step. The AFL lock the match replay service behind a paywall...it is all about Money money money....everyone, everyclub wants more... That is fine.... i get it, lots to pay for.

But you can offer some form of replay service...if they have to put advertising on it ..I just dont want an AFL live pass....And i understand their are fans out there who can't afford it.

I agree with that.

Just think the current website we have has little content.

I can't remember the last time there were photos or even footage of training on the website and the only videos they really show are copied off the AFL Website.

You know I produced 400 half hour shows for Channel 31.
I had to source the content or make the content and I did it it for free.
Admittedly I had another person helping but if you can't get up a weekly replay that has been videoed by paid employees then there is something wrong.
