I saw Walshy down at St Kevins Old boys with the binoculars out. He still reckons Jay Schultz could give us a cop out in 2018 _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

he hasn't set the world on fire and doesn't really stand out as special.
our club needs a new breath of fresh air brilliance and dusty fits that
criteria.
somethings missing at pie land. theres just nothing to get excited about.
dusty will bring that back. just by watching him dish off to a runner to an
open goal does it for me and when Blair tries to do it you know its from
having no skill or confidence to kick the dam thing through for himself.
its deflating to watch. _________________ no second chances |

As much as Martin is a gun, surely if we are looking for a big scalp on big coin to put us into the premiership window it's a key forward or back; not a midfielder. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Then why didn't we get him for 2017? |

Play a Dermie type role in sheltering the young KPF....I like it, if the price is right _________________ "The last thing he expected WAS THE FIRST THING HE GOT!!!!!"

Martin to the Saints and Fyfe to the Blues. Both have the money to offer huge contracts as they have built their war chests in the past few years. In my opinion, Collingwood are in no position to recruit a gun on big dollars in the next 2 years. We have emptied the bank account. |

There's only a little over $500k difference between the minimum 95% and the full 100% so it's hardly a huge war chest any team can compile. Even the capacity to go to 105% only gives you $1m for 1 year. I think we're closer to the 95% but either way it's not as simple as just having that scope. There are significant impacts across a full list to recruit someone like Fyfe or Martin. A high earning retiree is the best chance. |

I'd rather go for talls in the draft _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yes please. But I think he's reasonably happy up there. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

If Martin wants to come to Collingwood, then bring him in.
I know talls are the issue right now, but players like Dustin Martin don't come along often. So get him.
Hopper is somewhat unproven, but not a player to be snuffed at.
We'll see what happens though. We've been linked to that many players in the past..... _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
