The Blair Witches Hat project has been developed by Buck's to lure the opposition defenders into a false state of security therefore allowing the more skilled forwards the chance to score.

The same player assigned this task each week will scare the living daylights out of his own supporter base every time he goes near the ball by;

- allowing opposition player to break tackles and clear defensive area
- give back the opposition player the ball by turnover by hand or foot
- when tackled make the ball drops out incorrectly or even better hold the ball in and give away the free kick
- miss set shots at goal during crucial times in games
- any other action that will favour the opposition team to sling shot forward and find space in their forward line.

WARNING:

Never spend the night alone at the G this winter.

Theres something lurking in our forward line that goes missing every week.

The Blair Witches Hat project continues...

Coming to an AFL venue near you.

It's been all downhill since he hit the post from 20m out directly in front during the 2010 GF.

The thing that really worries me is why, consistently for 3 years, Blair is the only player who is able to play "hit up target" at CHF and why, when the ball hits the ground, none of the other forwards is there to help him. I'm not in favour of retaining Blair but I'm a huge fan of better effort from the rest of the forwards (assuming any of them is capable of better effort).

ONE of these days, the Blair witch will be best on ground, man of the match, I dunno when, but its a moral to happen. Life is full of surprises. !

You know, I was thinking today, the Australian cricket team really could of used someone with Blair's characteristics on the tour of India. His good eye, resilience, general toughness was just what was needed.

I wish played one tenth of the games Blair has. As others have said he's got the absolute most out of his limited height and talent. What he's achieved is testament to his dedication, persistence, courage and resilience. Sure, there are more skilled players around but he's filled a role while some who could have taken his spot were either injured, ill-disciplined or chasing dollars elsewhere.

When Blair's time is up, I'll cheer him as a premiership player and loyal servant if the great Collingwood football club.

maybe we should start a "Dump Blair" thread and confine all comments about him to there?

I'm finding the obsession with identifying scapegoats wearisome.

Do you think that will stop them?

We've got a dump Buckley thread but that doesn't stop the haters infecting every other thread?
