Blair is still in, as Thomosoc reaches for his blood pressure tablets. ! LOL _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Should have been watching from inside the Social Club, behind glass.

I would have preferred to see Blair out, but I guess there was no midfielder fit enough to replace him. In order to omit Blair, we would definitely have needed a player who could rotate through midfield in order to maintain the integrity and endurance of our midfield power. I guess the selection panel selected Blair because of these circumstances.
The smaller forward line has the potential to be very dangerous, with the assistance from our swarming midfielders. I thought that this aspect of our game was very good last week. Let us hope that the forward press this week has been ironed out so that we are not so badly exposed when we lose possession in F50. |

They are actually rather expensive, so i'll be going him halvies in pack.
And if Blair serves up that same rubbish thursday night, i'll be popping them like M&MS and they'll all be gawn by halftime... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

you reckon? I personally wouldn't call Aish pacy, he has some nice attributes, but not overly quick imo.
Broomhead is a small, but I can't tell whether he is real fast or not as he has rarely played, and rarely gets the ball when he does. |
Pace probably over-eggs it a bit, quick decision makers & good ball users in the main. Omitting Cox increases the speed of the team this week . _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Yep, if he serves THAT up, I might have to take comfort in a few too many Jack Daniels myself at home . !! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

indeed; worst case scenario - we might go somewhat overboard with the self-medicating on Jack Daniels or Jim Beam... whatever make the pain go away. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Surely he has to do something exceptional tomorrow to validate his spot?
Varcoe and Greenwood set to return, Elliott a chance...

I think it is more a reflection of conjunctural circumstances. Lack of match fit midfielders has saved Blair's position. |

Got beaten by the Indian side last night with King Kohli sprouting off.
And now tonite.
The hobbit jouney continues.
Week after week, month after month, year after year out comes the hobbit.
I am truly tired of this saga.
It has being going on longer than "home and away".
And I dislike that show.
Every now and then he will put in a reasonable effort and then I will get crap from other posters for weeks on end.
When you think about Blair tomorrow night just remember his first kick from last week.
It was a perfect kick .....direct to a Bulldog player by himself.
Get use to that play week after week, month after month, year after year.
And who knows it may become decade after decade.
enjoy the saga. |

Calm down mate, with sons of legends daicos and brown set to come in, and this Kirby machine, along with greenwood, de goey, varcs etc, the little hobbit may well struggle to hold his place. THATS the good news, so as the Poms say, KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
