Just looking at ninethmond stats Thursday night. We need to shut down that Martin. Bucks, put Treloar on him for the first quarter. See how that goes. We must stop their half forward line real quick. Force them into panic moves like bringing Rance up the ground. I wouldn't worry about Reiwold or whatever his name is. Get Varcoe to sort him out. This is a must win game for us.

I reckon Martin is big threat - probably need Greenwood (if fit) or Crisp to sit on him and then Maynard/Goldsack when he goes forward

I reckon Treloar and others will get a shot at him at different times

Varcoe.... love him.... but I'd say he'll be on a little holiday next week.

Martin is likely to play forward, no way should we waste Treloar back there.

I reckon Goldy might be the man here for the job, strong enough to contest with him and quick enough to go with him on the ground.

I'd use Crisp to shut Cotchin out of the game. Cotchin is one of the most taggable mids in the league.

I doubt they would give Treloar a tagging job on Martin, or anyone. Would be a waste.

Treloar is as damaging, if not more so than, than Martin.

Expect Greenwood (if fit) to go to Martin, or if not maybe Crisp or Varcoe.

Look at his heat map for Thursday. Was red hot right in the middle. I think he just kicked goals and it is being assumed he spent more time forward.

Correct. No Greenwood and probably no Varcoe. Crisp is the logical choice for Martin. Adams could go head to head with Cotchin.

Nah, not with Treloar, we need him to run rampant himself, but I do agree tag Martin. Put Crisp on him, or Greenwood, if fit, and run him ragged.

If Martin goes forward either goldie or Maynard get him if he wants to play as a outside mid send Adams or Mayne on him
He hates being tackled and likes the soft option as running free outside with no one annoying him
Crash tackle him at every chance and don't let him rest for a second all night
