We were far from disgraceful aside from 10 minutes in the third. Don't understand how they ran out more than the Pies.
I want to see something change in that fwd line. Sorry but Cox has to go. Elliot/Fas at ff, Moore centre half. Need something from the coaches box. We have the mids, need SOMETHING from the Bucks.

Is this 6 years in Bucks era
Had a crack but much of the same. Feel sorry for Darcy Moore. He is just a kid. Mason Cox is not a forward. Forwards struggled. Disposable sloppy at times...need to rebound quickly

An honest performance but some of the same old problems were present and it cost us the match.

Our contested possession is awesome.
Our forward entry is average at best.
Moore is a long way off, maybe a year or two from ripping every game apart.
Blair??? Seriously.
Our backs look ok. How good is Howe. Reid didn't ping a calf so that's a positive.
Fas was good. I see more positives than negatives. We are better than the Tigers. Should be good next week.
One final note: fvck Shimidt. The cheating see you next Tuesday, any chance of giving us a free. At least three tackles that were paid play on that resulted in goals down the other end from the turn over.
There's the game right there!

Same old same old. Appalling skills at times, poor finishing, lack of composure at key moments, and an "honourable loss" that's defensible. All hallmarks of the Buckley era, one that will go down in history as one of the biggest wastes of time ever.

I completely agree

We've been treading water with these 1-2-3 goal losses for years now

Nothing ever gets better...

Guess we just got nutted at the clearances

We did well in the end, but we chased blue white and red carrying leather most of night.

We can't expect to win games playing a quarter or so of good football, same as last couple of years.

We better beat bitchmond or there will be hell to pay.

We had 43% possession to their 42%. They had 63% of theirs in the back half compared to our 51%.

Score aside, we squared Q1 and Q4. They won Q3 and we won Q2.

We aren't far off the pace.

That said we had 4 weeks extra preparation.

I'm feeling okay about the effort but not about the polish. Darcy gets awarded that mark and it could have gone a different way - one of the single worst decisions I can remember.

Well, we didn't get hammered at least after that shit start.
Under 5 goals I'm happy, we could've won it easily but we lack class.

Blair needs to go & go now...

play Howe full forward. Never beaten in the air. Would take the best defender which frees up Moore. Blind Freddie would even play Howe forward.

Smile Isn't Pendles just class, never ceases to amaze me! Those two goals he kicked in the last!! The Dogs are a side you feel we can match up on and somehow, recently they just get the 4 points!

I fear we are wasting the best years of a truly epic career

Decent effort.

Just lacked the necessary class to beat them. Fairly upbeat despite the loss.

Exactly, we are missing a few and we could have won tonight, a few passengers that can easily be rectified. It's better than this time last year.

I dunno man, I think this will be our entire year unless Buckley can find an avenue to goal and a team defence that actually works. We will dominate midfield but just have nothing to kick it to and will get cut up at the other end.

Still always next week, effort was good.... but like a say ...it just feels like the same thing we have said year after year ..... effort not rewarded.... running up and down on the same spot and the opposition scores to easily over the top.

A great coach gets a side to win from anywhere. Buckley has to find a way to get this team preforming consistently.... It has not happened.

We are not going to smash opposition ever week in the middle....in games where we don't have the middle to ourselves i really do worry going forward.

Nothing has changed.
Bucks still can't coach - easy goals over the top - with coast to coast goals.
Team selection - too many talls on the forward line - Cox/Moore ineffective. Blair not up to it.
Umpiring - pathetic - just unfair.
And yet we only lost by 14 points.

20 more Inside 50's.
20 more clearances.

A combination of a poorly and unbalanced side (too many talls up forward) and poor defensive structures still remain present.

Buckley is coaching for his career next week.
