Saw a photo of Langdon today. looks like he should be playing lead guitar in a 70's heavy metal band. Shocked

Edit. Here it is.

Looking to play VFL this weekend http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-05-09/forgotten-magpie-set-for-wangaratta-vfl-return

Some weird news on Treloar. AFL website reporting he may miss.

Ox and Wills join the list this week. Which is a shame as Wills was close to a call up. Both short term.

Sadly, Varcs wont be back this week. But we'll hopefully get him back for the Hawks match. Worst case is we'll have to wait for the Lions game.

Also, that's great news re:Langdon. I think he is in our best team, so we'll look forward to seeing him regain match fitness in the VFL.

Treloar is being managed this week like Wells , Reid and Schade so he is fresh for the bye weekend.

Great to see Langdon finally available.

I find it strange some of the opinions on Langdon both here and on bigfooty.

He averaged 16.5 possessions in his first season, had the 3rd most rebound 50's, the 3rd most marks, the 4th most 1%'s and basically had a 2 for 1 ratio of uncontested to contested possession.

In 2015 he averaged 20.9 possessions, had the second most rebound 50's, the 3rd most marks, the 4th most 1%'s and again a high ratio of uncontested to contested possession.

For a player still 4 games short of 50 I would have been very happy if a pick 6 showed that promise during his first couple of seasons.

Langdon coming back is the best news about the footy that I've heard for 18 months. This, to me, is much, much bigger even than Elliott getting right.

Collingwood with Langdon, Pendlebury and Sidebottom all fit and firing can beat most teams.

I see what you did there!!!

Seriously though, I totally agree on 'Ronnie Dio' Langdon, would be great in current team

Injury report will come out tomorrow, but from all accounts from those who were there on Saturday, he'll miss a few weeks...

Add Reid to the list. LOL Keefe might win a promotion.

Report I heard was that Reid did a calf. Which we know what that means. A 8 week period listed as 2-3 weeks.

More will be known later today when the injury reports come out.

But White and Reid will obviously not be available. For how long? We'll have to see.

The obvious move, given VFL form, is to bring Keefy & Shaz into the side.

And a coach,
Obviously.

The season is gone, (though we're still in the running for "Best Wooden Spoon side ever") so we should be playing the kids & less experienced guys, and for god's sake lets do what everyone else does, tank properly! But lets finish second last, no more spoons! And to the moronic twits who say otherwise, I have never, and will never WANT Collingwood to lose. It still breaks my heart & ruins my weekend every single time. If we turn around & win every game from here on & play finals I will be happier than anyone here. I really don't give a rats who's coaching as long as we're winning. If that was Nathan that’s great. I never, ever wanted him to fail. But losing with the brilliant side we've got is killing me. So is being the joke of the league.

My under 16s coach when I played for Monbulk was really good. He's gotta be about 80 by now, but he might be available. Should I give him a call?

Answer if you want, but I won't see it. Not around much any more. Too depressing, but thanks to those who've sent PMs of encouragement.
