ok, so Mayne is now the official scapegoat for the year. Thought he was serviceable for 2 rounds, was ordinary last night but you'll get that from smallish forwards. Probably not the answer but will be handy from time to time. Is that acceptable from a well paid recruit? No, but it's only round 3.

Mayne was lucky to play in round 1 after being a late inclusion due to Aish's late withdrawal.

To be fair to him though, I thought he was a decent contributor in the first round, but I've been disappointed by his performances from last week and last night.

He's a couple of very gettable goals away from being serviceable. What's with his set shot kicking? Looks like a golfer with the putting yips, completely over thinking it.
