| Post subject: Has anyone been to the Singapore F1? |  |
|
Outside chance but just wondering if anyone has been to the F1 in Singapore and if yes any tips re which tickets/grandstands are best?
Planning on a surprise trip for our anniversary so I have to be careful where I ask - otherwise it won't be a surprise

Never been to the event, but have been to the track.
Like most races, the best spot is going to be on the straight or the first turn.

Best spot would be in the bar/restaurant diagonally opposite Raffles and drinking Tiger Chrystal in the Hogs Breath. You can hear it from there. Alot of the great hotels are hard to get to when the temporary stands are up . I arrived the night of one and had to sit in the lobby for 9 hours waiting for my room at the Carlscum Hotel opposite Raffles.

Thanks guys - I went for the 3 day different Grandstand pass that includes access to the concerts. Hope Dan wins - that would be
