Interesting site, cheers.
It rates the Herald Sun as centre right and the Aged as centre left, which is pretty much what I expected. |
As is The Guardian, whereas Breitbart is identified as having a spot on the meter at the extreme end of right. From their summary: "The content ranges from extreme right wing bias to conspiracy to racism" - that, of course, is the full gamut of political opinion in the modern world. |

Interesting! This seems like a pretty sound analysis, though I’m surprised that they put The Sydney Morning Herald (which publishes centrist and even right-wing op-eds) in the same league as New Matilda, which is more or less exclusively leftist. Most of their assessments seem to check out, though.
Edit: ok, this is just absurd, though:

Potentially there's some country levelling happening there, as CNN would be comparable to the Aged here, centre left but in the US market further left than that. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

^ No way – The Age (which I would consider a broadly centrist paper, but can accept it being called centre-left) is clearly to the left of CNN, which is an absolute pro–status quo network and would be just as soon to editorialise in support of the Iraq War as any even vaguely liberal policy.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/mueller-probes-flynns-role-in-alleged-plan-to-deliver-cleric-to-turkey-1510309982?mg=prod/accounts-wsjhttps://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/nov/10/michael-flynn-trump-turkish-dissident-cleric-plot
Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, is under investigation for involvement in an alleged plot to kidnap a Turkish dissident cleric living in the US and fly him to an island prison in Turkey in return for $15m, it was reported on Friday.
...
The report in the Wall Street Journal is the latest of a string of allegations facing Flynn, a retired general and former head of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA).
[Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating Russian manipulation of the 2016 US election] is now reported to have gathered sufficient evidence to bring charges against Flynn and his son, Michael Flynn Jr, which would bring his investigation another leap closer to Trump.
The fact that no indictment has been made public may only increase concerns for Trump’s legal team. Flynn has expressed interest in an immunity deal and Mueller, in his dealings with former foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos, has shown himself ready to negotiate.
...
The timing of the 21 Club meeting is significant. The White House has distanced itself from the men charged by Mueller – Papadopoulos, former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his business associate Rick Gates. But by mid-December Trump had named Flynn national security adviser and he was playing a central role in the transition.
That period is a grey area when it comes to paid work for foreign interests, but if the arrangement was carried through past inauguration in January, Flynn could face bribery charges on top of questions of whether the New York conversations represented a conspiracy to carry out a forced extra-judicial rendition of a legal US resident.
'If the facts involving Flynn and his son are true, or even mostly true, it indicates an incredible propensity for outrageously illegal conduct,' said Ryan Goodman, a New York law professor and former Pentagon counsel. 'Evidence that Flynn was prepared to act in such an unlawful way could help prove a case against him in other activities as well involving his ties to Russia during the campaign'.
The White House very sensibly declined to comment.
Those of you looking for "balance" will struggle to find anything on Breitbart about this - that's because it doesn't do investigative journalism, so it doesn't yet have anything on this actual news. No doubt it will run the "It's just a flesh wound" interference propaganda soon enough. |

The African nations should immediately allow the importation of Bald Eagle products but not from Canada. Might be the only way the americans realise the world does not belong to them.
Do these bozos realise elephants actually mourn the dead and have rituals when one dies.
A worldwide boycott on Trump resorts etc might hurt him as well. No doubt the Japanese and Chinese will support him.
Thankfully it is not confirmed. The boycott of countries that allow this barbarous practice of confined killing should also be started. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Um, no, he's overturning the ban on bringing body parts back as trophies. Heads, feet, ears, whatever. Elephants first, lions next.
Just further proof of what a shithole of a country it now is. No doubt for the benefit of his sons who clearly have small d*^ks but need to feel like they have big ones |
