It's not as straight forward as you seem to imply.
The extent of anti-semitiic incidents has spiralled in the US since the advent of Trump - mostly due to the unleashing of the rednecks & white trash that makes the rump of trump believe they have been given a voice. The relative silence from Trump et al has been deafening.
(In the similar way that anti-semitic incidents are spiralling out of control in Europe with the rise of their right wing nut-jobs)

On one hand, the poor low paid worker is being screwed over, then suddenly if they aren't university educated left wingers, they're white trash.
Trump's daughter converted to Judaism to marry her Jewish Husband didn't she?

Trump's campaign has let the feral's out.
Trump's campaign (as I noted above) allowed, emboldened & created the space for the rednecks (see KKK like groups) to come out of their cubby -holes & not just preach hate but start to terrorize communities

2. Your juxtaposition of low paid workers, left wing etc then white trash is yours exclusively & you're welcome to it. It has no merit & is bait.

What WPT meant to refer to was "ignorant, indolent, stupid, unemployed, bigoted, deluded white people who should all be socialists but haven't got the political nous so instead voted in ridiculously large numbers for a member of the ruling elite in the mistaken belief that he might do anything to improve their pathetic lot and, in particular, have been confused into believing that their own incontinence is proof of the 'trickle down' effect." |

^ Strange how such epithets are not applied to the self-destructive members of the black community. Perhaps they are honorary "socialists".
I think it is stupid to vote for Trump, partly for the reasons P4S suggests, but it is curious that people who profess liberal ideals should label poor people, white or black, "[insert ethnic identifier] trash."
