Pie is just another example of polarizing disagreement-by-abuse.... the thing he purports to despise in his “morning after Trump” rant. |
Pie is only a character and is very one dimensional. It is an act and he even satirises himself as part of the act. As a newscaster the Pie character is as fake as the fake news he so despises. He presents the news, but once the cameras stop rolling his cynicism and bile emerges. Then the cameras roll and back to "fake" reporting he goes. That's his point.
Of course it's a one trick pony, but your seeing Mr Bean, not Rowan Atkinson (only used as an example, I'm not actually comparing Pie to Bean!)
I also like it that a lefty is up for the stoush, as fair dinkum they are massively outnumbered as there must be literally hundreds of right wing 'enthusiasts' happily blogging away. |

^ fair enough, but I reckon Armando Iannucci has taken it better and further. Matter of taste, of course. Mind you, there’s no shortage of abusive Lefties out there....they mob on twitter and the Guardian comments are nearly as bad as Breitbart’s in their way. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Yeah I watched it. Was a masterpiece political speech. The Democrats refused to stand and applaud anything which made them look really bad. Like everyone applauding lowest black unemployment and dems are just looking salty.
His policies are very centre too, infrastructure, paid maternity leave, big immigration amnesty. The Democrats are letting themselves be wedged like 90s Aus Labor. |

What does it matter what the conservative arm of the US military industrial complex thinks about Trump's speech? |
