Would be the height of stupidity - just like it was to target Stuart Broad.

Broad singles that out as the best motivation he's had in Test cricket.

There are simply players you DON'T boo or sledge. For instance ? Javed Miandad, Ian Botham or, to a lesser degree, Harbhajan Singh. There are others.

I captained my local district cricket team for 20 years. I didn't particulary like sledging, unless it was humourous - although I would remind the 2 batsmen at the crease of the score, if they weren't going too well. eg. "Let's keep it going, boys. 10 overs and they're 2/12"

I distinctly remember one particular very chirpy oppo player. He'd stride to the crease like he was 50 already, announce himself and get the other team's mind off the game. He walked out, one day, and did the usual. Total silence from my boys. Immediately, he was distracted. Didn't last long.

Kohli is ultra competitive and a bit like that bloke. Don't give him oxygen !!
