Game. Set. Match.

It's undeniable.

It certainly is.... if you listen to the scientists that are PAID to come to that conclusion.

The 31,000 that aren't on the payroll disagree.

There's no debate anymore. Merely the last paroxysms of the extremist deniers. Even coal producers support climate change science.

However there is some entertainment value in the rabid rights rubbish.

It reminds me in part of the WW2 japanese soldier found in the jungle of a remote south pacific island 10 or more years after the war disbelieving the war is over.

Of course Trump just made the US join Syria & Nicaragua as the only countries not to join the rest of the world in the Paris agreement: Trump going to make China great

As Australia's leading scientist said: It's good to have an open mind but not so open you lose your brains".

No debate you say??

Over 30,000 scientists say 'Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming' is a complete hoax and science lie
.

Climate change proponentsremain undeterred in their mission, ignoring numerous recent scientific findings indicating that there has been no warming trend at all for nearly two decades.

Al Gore's dire predictions of the melting of polar ice on a massive scale have proved to be completely false. In fact, in 2014 - a year that was touted as being "the hottest ever" in the Earth's history - there were record amounts of ice reported in Antarctica, an increase in Arctic ice, and record snowfalls across the globe.

Al Gore and cronies continue getting richer from the global warming hoaxBut the global warming crowd continues to push their agenda on the public while lining their pockets in the process. If you're still inclined to believe what Al Gore has to say about global warming, please consider the fact that since he embarked on his crusade, his wealth has grown from $2 million in 2001 to $100 million in 2016 - largely due to investments in fake "green tech" companies and the effective embezzlement of numerous grants and loans.

^ yes, not worth arguing about.

* Clear correlation
* Understood mechanism of causation
* Terrible consequences if it happens, modest consequences of acting on it.
* very strong scientific consensus including many who are highly respected for their good faith and have no axe to grind.

There is a modest chance it is not correct, but every reason to accept it and act.

Because, man can manipulate the climate by... reducing our emissions? Maybe we can all lean to the left and slow the rotation of the planet to make a day 25hrs instead of 24? Now that will increase productivity.

Too many people, the planet can not sustain the ever increasing population... that is the issue that needs addressing NOT the bullshit that the elite (who aren't rushing from the Califonian coast to escape the rising sea levels) want to feed us on climate change.

^ agree that there are too many people. No idea how to change that one, but there are routes to reducing the CO2 emitted. In the end they will probably be cheaper, too, and stop us having to worry about Saudi Arabia. Win all round.

Skids, I think the aim is less to 'manipulate' the climate than to stabilise it. I'm not aware of anyone who thinks we can bring it back to pre-industrial revolution levels or even reduce the temperature at all. The aim is to stop temperatures from rising exponentially, which they will continue to do if we don't severely wind back global carbon emissions.

How many of this "alleged" 31,000 are environment or climate scientists?

How many are in the pockets of the oil or coal industry?

That facts are that numerous studies on global warming by experts in the field show up to 97% agree that man is the main causal affect of global warming.

The 97% factoid is bullshit and anyway, consensus isn't science, it's democracy.

I went snorkelling on the Great barrier reef last month.

I saw some bleached coral, some coral severely destroyed by the cyclone a couple of years back (mainly the purple staghorn coral that looks like antlers, it was utterly trashed by the cyclone) and I saw some new coral (yellow) growing. The purple coral didn't spawn last year, hopefully it does this year

In mid may the water was still warm enough for the stinger nets to be out on the beach. You normally don't need it for the colder dry season, but the water was still warm a bit longer than usual.

I don't believe the hysterical apocalyptic predictions from the more extreme green lobby. The science behind increased CO2 in the atmosphere is fairly settled, a few decades back it was called the Greenhouse effect.

Unfortunately we then went to threats about the Ozone layer, global warming and then climate change as the prediction models proved increasingly inaccurate and the average person noticed F all difference in the climate.

the fervour about which some people talk about climate change is religious, and like any religion your get people making a mint by tagging on the coattails of the true believers. I'm not religious.

I believe more renewable energy = less pollution from burning carbon - good thing

More trees less concrete is also good.
