The computer industry isn't doing too well these days, Stui. Well, more to the point, it's pretty ratshit. My guess is that the fire was a blessing to all concerned. Former customers can go to a better class of retailer (i.e., just about anyone), former workers can go and do something they are better at (i.e., just about anything), and former owners can collect all that lovely folding insurance. What's not to like?

(No skin off my nose either way, I should add: I'm retired, near enough as makes no difference.)
