now that I've got your attention I just want to congratulate the mighty QUINN for his goal on the weekend which means he is now Eire's all time top goal scorer. it was his b'day too, so what an ideal gift!

now that the madness of the AFL trading period has ended, it is time to turn the focus on the PL. on the mackem front, mcateer appears set to join the squad. trevor sinclair would be even better though and now that he's left west ham, let's hope the mackems can beat the skunks to his signature. there's talk of udinese's martin jorgensen coming to the permiership and north east interests are strong, but I don't think it will happen.

Junkboy, I just wanna know if you have a mackem shirt? I wanna know cause i finally got a Toon shirt yesterday after two years of looking but I have never seen a mackem shirt in an Aussie shop.

yeah, I have an authentic replica kit, with the nike dri-fit technology, that I ordered from kitbag in the UK. I had it personalised with kevin phillips' name and number, as well as the premier league badges. however, it ended up costing ~$180 (ouch!) by the time I converted it from pound sterling.

yep the toon are also after sinclair as well as jorgensen. the former is more likely to come to the north east than the latter.

I paid $130 for mine, but obviously you cannot get the names and numbers done in Oz. I might be going to Europe this summer so i might get it done then. I love this shirt though, I only ever had a crappy $15 made in thailand Brown Ale shirt.........
