cue the angst. if injury is true then it's disappointing but if we can fix ben reid we can fix anyone.

can anyone confirm the veracity of the injury report?

How is this solely Buckley's fault? The club were well aware of the status of his body and made a decision to employ him and took a calculated risk. It was a joint decision involving quite a few of our recruiting, medical, coaching and administration staff.

As for the $1.08 million, that is speculative at best. His contract would undoubtedly include a performance clause and his payments would be greatly influenced by the number of games played?

This is what you get when you pick the best 22 without a game being played. Laughing

the preseason takes its toll every year at pie land and so only the fittest survive. wells won't be the last of them and quite frankly who thought realistically with his history and age he would actually be 100% at any point during his contract. get used to it.

Tom Browne today tweeting that Wells has injured his calf - tight, but not too bad.

Lauren Wood tweeting that Pies "say no injury as had been reported". Modified program til Christmas - today not a training day.

Definitely sounds like some smoke and shadows behind the Glasshouse windows.

Yeah I'll back Lauren in here, who at least was at training and took a picture of Wells casually chatting to fans.

SEN and Browne are in the same category as Barrett and Caro these days, just making shit up for the fun of it.

No need to panic yet, even if that is the usual first port of call for most on here.

I agree with mattys123 if the source has been on the sauce, no need for panic
