What an excellent idea. He played all his VFL football for the Pies. He's had an ultimately successful career as a football administrator after surviving working at the Bears with the crook Skase and the fool Cronin. He has done very well with the Swans. It would be good if Eddie and Pert could convince Ireland to come home and finish his career with his first club.

I had Andy Ireland 24 on the back of my duffle coat, cos I wanted to be the only one to do so.
One day walking out from VFL Park, I heard a voice yell out "Onya Andy Ireland!" The distinguished silver haired woman hollering from the back seat of a black chauffer driven car added with delight "I'm his Mum!!!"
Going by her enthusiasm, I think I was the only Andy Ireland fan after all.
He was such a reliable half back. Hardly ever beaten from memory. Biased view of course!
GET HIM!!

Monkhorst to get the job I reckon. When he knocks it back, we'll go for Craig Kelly. Then Tony Francis. After that, I dont know.

Wright refused because he is contracted. Nothing to see here, just Caro trying to make something out of nothing in her endless pursuit of Ed.
