I hadn't taken much notice of this kid but his highlight package, particularly against a gig gorilla like tomahawk makes me think he could be something this year. In a good system and with some confidence he could end up one of the bargains of the Rookie draft. I didn't see much of last night. How did he go?

Lynden Dunn seems to rate him, if the interview on the website is anything to go by.

Schade played on Moore a lot last night, and while Darcy at times looked to be going half pace himself, he did keep him goal less for the time he was on him.

At 197cm and with 20 senior games under his belt (15 of those in 2015) he was well worth taking a chance with.

I'd rate his chances of playing a key defender higher then Keeffe's.

If everyone is fit for round one then neither of Keeffe or Schade play, but Henry will do a defensive job for you from what I've seen go him.

I'm not sure that it's good news - speaking more generally - that Moore was kept goal-less by a rookie (however pleased we might be about the rookie), since we need him to kick about 9.3 per game for the team to reach a competitive score.

^

At least that's only 12 set shots per game required as opposed to Clokey's 18 to get the same score

Well, he has now played 2 games for us.
I really had no idea about him before this season.
I not sure what to make of him at the moment.
Has anyone got any thoughts on this kid after watching the last 2 games?

He's vanilla ice cream.

Can be quite tasty and satisfying but doesn't have the wow factor of others and not your first option.

Goes well with a lot of other options though so worth keeping in the freezer.

Been a bit better than expected, given he struggled to get a regular game at the worst team in the competition. Has promise but needs to gain a lot more experience, so I'd prefer Dunn. Someone said recently that experience seems to be becoming more and more important in AFL, as the intensity rises and the crushing impacts of tackles etc rise. Most of the best sides have hard seasoned bodies and lots of veteran leadership.
