Needs to go to another club where he's not under so much scrutiny due to his name. Sydney Swans.

The answer to his future at Collingwood is best summed up by a great article earlier in the year where Brendon Bolton said we’re looking to mix up our centre square set up to the point where every contest includes an extractor, a creator and an impactor. As long as Adams remains available, there is very little room for Brown getting big minutes in the seniors at Collingwood.
The other thing we need to draw breath on when we mention the Browns, is that they are currently missing out playing midfield in a pretty decent side that has absolutely zero injuries to its midfield. It’s no shame as a player if you can’t get a game right now as a on baller in this side. Ross Lyon was onto the other day when he said the Pies mid field collective is nearly as good as anyone in the comp.
It’s was only 12 months ago Lipinski couldn’t get a game. Maybe more than anything, C Brown needs a fresh start elsewhere.

For me he just needs to clean up his disposal and get a bit more of the footy. We generally remember a players errors more than the positive things they do. It is like credit. You need to be seen to do more good things than bad. If you can hit 5 targets in a row then miss one, no problem. If you are missing 50% of targets or something similar it gets frustrating to watch as it feels like that player makes mistakes too regularly, especially if you are only getting 7 to 12 disposals a game, you really need to make them count. If you get 30 disposals and 5 are blunders, well, that is fine because 25 of them are actually ok.

Get more footy and hit more targets.

As others have pointed out, there is a lot of romance involved to see both of Gavin Brown's boys be successful at Collingwood. Gavin was a great champion of the club who excelled in competiveness (rarely beaten one on one), super strong for his size which allowed him to be used as a key forward and had good disposal skills.
Unfortunately, apart from 2019, Callum has failed to execute AFL level disposal skills at the highest level and although he has an admirable talent to get his hands on the ball, at this point in time, he's not able to hurt the opposition with the subsequent disposals and that's a skills failing that I fear will kill his time at Collingwood.
I still have high hopes that Tyler Brown, who is still in the early part of his career development, can develop into a special AFL player. Against Fremantle this year he displayed some high flying ability to contest in the air whilst playing as a back-up ruckman. He didn't clunk those marks but got his hands to the ball. He has the size and athleticism to be a strong on-ball option and disposal skills superior to his brother. so I think Tyler should be retained on the list and given every opportunity to find his niche within the team.

He shits himself when he gets the ball at Senior level and reverts to handball 80% of the time often to the detriment of the receiving player. Unlike a similarly vertically challenged player like Caleb Daniel, Callum doesn't possess that one point of difference skill such as kicking that compensates for his lack of size. At best we trade him for a pick in the 60's or simply he is delisted.

In defense of Callum, if he is to develop and progress his career as an AFL footballer he needs to recognize that his kicking skills aren't good so he needs to become like the great Tony Shaw played and stick to what he does well by being able to distribute the ball with reliability to teammates in better position and skills than Callum has to move the ball better to attacking positions. Playing such a role would probably necessitate the high % of handball use if he is playing that inside role. Unfortunately for Callum, the role in the team he is best suited for is currently filled by Taylor Adams who doesn't have a great kick himself but is still a much better kick than Callum and is better at playing the inside midfielder at the moment. To make matters worse for Callum, I don't think he would be the next in line to take over from Adams given the current list and hence that is why he is at risk of loosing his spot on the Collingwood list.

Geez I'd love to see him head west and run around in the WAFL for Swan Districts. Maybe a change like that could help his development?
Andrew Krtakouer played a mid career season (2010) for Swan Districts, winning a Simpson Medal for BOG in one of the most memorable grand finals in recent history, before returning to the Pies to play in a GF in 2011, in which he kicked 3 goals, he also won mark of the year in his AFL return season.

We'll gladly have Callum at Swannys!!
