What impressed me on Friday night was the first couple of contested touches he had. Clean. Put his head over the ball. And hit a moving target at speed with the disposal.
Only mark so far is that he looks around for the handball everytime, slowing the disposal on, but I'd say this is more of a confidence thing getting up with the speed of the game. |

or he is looking for the handball because there is nothing to kick to within his distance?? _________________ Toby for President |

P4s seems to have little boxes labelled “love children” and “condemn at all costs”. Guess which box Adams goes in ? _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

C Brown has the natural football smarts. He does those little things that not many notice. Just like his Father he is committed to attack the ball. Let's sit back and watch him develop as he is still very young. Amazing when you draft footballers instead of athletes that they become good footballers. |

I loved what he showed on Friday night.
It's just a pity that he looks like he couldn't outrun a pensioner with a dodgy hip. |

Developing into an underrated player.
Laid 8 tackles last night, which is the second highest for the team behind Treloar who had 11 tackles. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

its his hands that are his greatest asset. sure handed, one touch even under pressure and in packs and very precise by hand. perfect link player for the game plan that Bucks has us playing.
did you hear Carey observe that the WHE goal was only possible because of the perfectly placed handball and that if it went anywhere else, there is no way that WHE scores. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

I don't think p4s is too far from the truth though. Callum's definitely "much cleaner with his hands and a better user of the ball". As for Adam's place in the side, well.. all I'll say is, we seemed a lot more fluent and precise with our ball movement on Fri night without him. Only one game out but just saying. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

We are a much better side with Adams in it, end of story. I hope we don't end up with people advocating trading away Adams for a KPP like the long thread we had about Sidebottom and his place in the team and whether we should trade Sidey. The disposal stats of Adams are overstated. If you don't believe me read the stats for some of the GWS players like Sheil. There's actually not much difference. Callum Brown is a totally different player to Adams. We can easily accommodate both players in the team. |

it's not end of story, it's just your opinion.
There'd be half a dozen midfielders I'd have in the side before him _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

The one knock I have on Cal is that he’s not one touch yet. Just those little fumbles cost him at times. When he sorts that out look out. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

For a kid who wasn't a standout at TAC level, he's done very very well so far. Yeah he has things to work on, but the improvement from last year to this year is bloody brilliant. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
