I wasn't offended, but I guess it's understandable a lot of women would be unhappy about the perfectly normal process they experience every month being described that way. That's presumably the angle TP, Tannin and WPT are taking here.

^ But - and Skids and I don't see eye to eye on much - well pretty much anything really  the link to the story describing it as such was written by a woman so the way I see it the angst should directed at the woman should it not?
If he had described it as such without the context of the posted link maybe that's different??
I still think it a bizzare term and description though!

No issues with letting it stand, FFS don't delete it, I'm just trying to understand why. Hopefully one of those who criticised Skids could elaborate on why and we could discuss that without insults or mod intervention.

I don't disagree and I thought the article itself had issues, but which part of what Skids actually posted himself is bad, other than putting the topic up in the first place?
