Hope this article isn't hidden behind the paywall. That aside "YEP" Mr Blair, you're playing for your career! |
If I keep talking about Blair my career at Nix maybe limited. |

A little respect for a premiership player that 2 coaches have seen fit to keep on the list for 7 years wouldn't go astray. |

Yes DTM this is the heart of the Collingwood malaise.
As outlined by that Mod WhyPhilWhy.
We look to the past and not the future.
It is why we have won 4 flags in 80 years.
It is the whole backward looking culture at Collingwood that is the issue.
The resigning of Blair is just one example that the rot of the fish starts at the head. |

Clearly "respect" is a little understood concept for some. I didn't say whether of not the Club should play him. I didn't even say whether I thought he should even be on the list.
I simply said he deserved respect. |

Absolutely correct its all Blair and Buckleys fault not administrations, the members voting decisions, AFL/VFL rules, insane committee decisions or dodgy umpires _________________ Carlscum 120 years being cheating scum |

You have to respect Blair though.
If every player committed themselves to every training session, practice game and home and away game like he did, we would play finals this year. Heck we would have played finals last year. I don't doubt the talent on our list, I doubted in a big way their effort in some games last year.
You can't see he ever leaves anything on the field.
In fact he has over achieved if anything given his height and ability.
Kind of glad the much maligned Jarryd Blair will play over 150 games for us, he's a true example of getting the most out of ones self. |
