I do not miss Foxtel at all. |
Mandy, sorry to be vague; this AFL pass - does it mean you have to watch all the games on your computer monitor or tablet, or can the stream be watched through your LCD TV? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

I watch on my tablet because it doesn't really bother me to. But I know you can buy an adapter to plug into a TV. My Dad does it. _________________ #TEAMBUCKS

I watch streaming AFL on my iPad and then use AirPlay to my Apple TV connected to my home theatre. Works a treat. _________________ Magpies forever.

You need to use Mirroring in AirPlay, but that is all.
Using AirPlay to an Apple TV enables you to view any iPad content. _________________ Magpies forever.

I use an android smart box (purchased from ebay) downloaded the AFL app to it and use a weekly pass to watch games that are not FTA. I also use this same device which has the Kodi platform on it to watch full hd replays 24 hrs after match through an AFL addon l also use it to stream movies and tv series to my flat creen tv. If you're unsure what kodi is just go to you tube and you will find thousands of videos. _________________ Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!

With Optus fetch TV you get premier league soccer, baseball and American sports though ESPN, National Geographic channels and the Disney and Kardashian channels. All in the $100 bundle.
So no need for Rupert in my life, except for Fox movies.
To get footy there are various replays around the net, including Youtube, I don't normally watch Collingwood live, makes me nervous... |

I agree. They have as Many Ads as Free To Air Does but they Charge way too much for Foxtel _________________ I am Da Man |

My iPad accesses my ADSL2 broadband via my wifi setup, not via phone data. _________________ Magpies forever.

You lost me at iPad.
I have Foxtel Go on my Samsung tablet so I can watch that if I'm not home but still in Australia. Doesn't work overseas, I tried it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

So now I pay $99 a year for the AFL pass where I can still watch all games live. And what's not covered by my $13 a month Netflix and $6 a month Hayu subscriptions I just download anyway.

Just checked out Hayu, looks good
