I'm in the Buckley over Roos camp, if we got Roos ( and it'll cost us like the Demons) then it fails, not only will the usual whingers complain about Eddie but won't the media go Pies crazy again! _________________ Godfather of Syn |

It wouldn't surprise me if we had contacted Roos, but it will likely have been to employ him as a consultant or a Director of Coaching type of role. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

This may well end up being the case if the results in 2017 don't meet internal expectations.
My point is what is the point of bagging the bloke? If he doesn't succeed then we all will have a miserable 2017 football season. So, why don't we all unite and get behind the club, the coach and the players rather than wasting time and energy on the negatives. |

If we're going to replace Buckley can we get someone better than Roos?! _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Roos will sign on for 2 years for $4M and then announce Anthony Rocca will be his protégé to take over after one week. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Ill tell you why.
Because certain posters on here will look like gooses if we turn the corner. They are too heavily invested in bucks failing and will do anything to save face.

It isn't if we turn the corner, it is when we turn the corner with the young and exciting list that the club has put together.
Hopefully, this is under Bucks' reign, as I wouldn't like him to end up like Brendan McCartney, in that he has done all the hard work of the rebuild and then someone else comes in reaps the rewards. |

Roos lost his last game by 20 goals. Careful what you wish for. |

Dude, he'd have to turn the corner pretty hard... he is not capable of it, there will be no premiership dynasty... or anything that remotely looks close to it.
Im happy to eat my words if by an amazing fluke he suddenly turns good - after 6 years _nothing short of 'winning a flag'_ will see his legacy as anything other then a total unmitigated disaster.
Until then, certain posters have looked like nothing but like complete gooses day after day, year after year (remember... Zero... September... its been years since I 1st said that to you... years... nothing has changed). |

Roos cost Melbourne 0. His salary was covered by the AFL due to the debt they were/are in. It was like their fine for tanking, it was the AFL fining itself. |
