Agreed. Doesn't sound further from the truth.
This would be a case of Tapping seeing this as the next step towards being a senior coach. End of story. |

Couldn't agree more, good luck to him, did a great job with our VFL side and has earned an assistant role. Shame there wasn't 1 available at the Pies and he's had to look elsewhere. |

Gavin Brown doesn't want to be a senior coach.
Taps is a massive loss, the boys will be spewing. Hopefully we get him back one day |
What a massive over reaction by posters! hows this a massive loss? he was VFL coach who got thumped by 100 pts in his last game??? if we only knew that promoting Tipping to Bucks coaching team was all it would take to go to the GF!!!

Once again I find the chest beating that goes on when someone "Moves ON" not leaves, breathtaking.Hawthorn can "Churn OUT'" coaches from "Clarko's stable" and everyone pats him on the back and wishes them well but HERE!!!! It's all WTF is going on.Blue with Buckley!! Someone upset him.He is a RESERVES coach, not even an assistant and was probably not what was needed so he saw an opportunity and moved on, just like people here should do.Move on!!! |

It's a loss but I'm happy for him.
If he has true aspirations of one day gaining a head coaching role he needs to make the step to being part of an AFL coaching staff and it sounds like he's found that role at Brisbane.
Good luck to him and hopefully he's got a top job in the AFL within a few seasons. Thanks Dale! |
